The operation, headed by operatives of the Utako Division conducted the raids between June 30 and July 3.
The suspects were involved in a kidnap incident in Gwagwa, where an undisclosed number of family members were abducted.

The police said despite receiving N12m ransom from the families of the abducted victims, the assailants subsequently killed two of them in the June 12 incident.
The suspects are Umar Abdullahi, 20; Likita Abubakar 29; Salisu Sani 24; Sabiu Mohammed and Aliyu Suleiman 24.
“They are also responsible for several kidnappings and other heinous acts in the Capital Territory,” the police said on Thursday.
The operatives upon arrest, combed the hideout, recovering four AK-47 rifles, a Dane gun, two magazines, and eight unexpended live ammunition, even as “they have all confessed to the crime”.

While Investigation is underway, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh assured the residents of the command’s continuous commitment to ensuring their security and safety.
