if you are the type of person who enjoys or derives pleasure from smoking cigarettes, I strongly advise you to quit as soon as you turn 50. The reason for this is that once you reach 50, you are no longer a young man and have even outlived the average life expectancy of Nigerians. 2. Reduce your reliance on processed foods;
this is another important lesson to learn as you get older. After the age of 50, try to limit how often you eat or consume processed foods, as many of them contain unhealthy fats and ingredients that can be harmful to your health. Don’t forget that unhealthy fat consumption is one of the factors that contributes to stroke, partial stroke, and a variety of other brain problems. Consume more fruits, fresh vegetables, and food prepared with good oil.
3. Stop sitting or staying in one place for too long;
exercising is one of the safest things you can do as you get older, despite how difficult it is. If you dislike exercising, I recommend that you begin learning how to do so now, so that when you are older, no matter how comfortable you appear to be, the need to exercise will become a priority in your life. Jogging or at the very least taking a daily walk will not cause any harm, but sitting or relaxing in the same place month after month, year after year will cause more harm than good.
4. Avoid Sugar and Complex Sugar–
Containing Foods; sugar is sweet and enjoyable, but it can also kill people or cause serious health problems. Once you reach the age of 50, both men and women must begin to avoid sugar. I don’t mean completely avoiding sugar, but rather drastically reducing the amount of sugar you consume.
