The Plateau Central Senatorial District Election Petition Tribunal is set to give its report on the pre-hearing session that has been on for two weeks to complete all processes.

The petitioner’s lead counsel, Prof. Sylvester S. Shikyil says, the matter was slated for continuation of pre-hearing and the part of the petitioners they’re ready to proceed also parties have been served with the prehearing notice in compliance with the Tribunal guidelines.
He said, in compliance with section 2 of Ts007 the petitioners filled in answers to the prehearing questions information dated 30/06/2023 and filed on 03 /07/2023 and he equally adopted the prehearing answers as the Tribunal proceeded.
The first respondent, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Rabiu Sani responded that they have received the petitioners.
We completed our answers dated 23/06/2023 and filed the same and he adopted it .and the second respondent also filed their response dated 25/06/2023 and he adopted the prehearing answers to the petitioner’s documents.
Meanwhile, the third respondent did the same through the counsel, S.S.Obende
In the same vein, the panel will give the trial schedule for all parties to pick up from the registry.
The Chairman of the panel, Justice Tukur Mohammed, made this known on Tuesday, shortly after their arrival to begin the day’s proceedings.
The court will also determine whether or not to consolidate the three surviving petitions before it.
