The traditional ruler of the community, His Royal Majesty Nzeobi Evaristus Amida, conferred the title of Ugo Egbema, “The Pride of Egbema Kingdom,” on Nwabali for his outstanding performance in the 2024 AFCON finals, where he led Nigeria to the finals with impressive saves.
The honor comes as a recognition of the goalkeeper’s contribution to the pride and honor of his people.
The traditional ruler praised Nwabali for his exceptional performance and for bringing recognition to the Egbema Kingdom on the international stage.
In addition to the chieftaincy title, Stanley Nwabali was also recently rewarded at the state level by the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
The governor presented the Super Eagles goalkeeper with a state honor and a generous sum of N20 million as a token of appreciation for his contributions to Nigerian football and his exemplary representation of Rivers State.
