Nigerian music star Davido and his wife Chioma Adeleke may be taking legal steps against individuals accused of engaging in online harassment, according to music executive Ubi Franklin.
As reported by Punch Newspaper, Ubi Franklin disclosed in a series of posts that there are plans to involve law enforcement over what he described as coordinated cyberbullying targeted at the couple and members of their family.
According to him, the alleged attacks go beyond regular social media criticism, involving organized efforts through group chats and online communities to repeatedly target Chioma, popularly known as Chef Chi. He further warned that those responsible may be required to explain their actions to authorities, emphasizing that the situation is being taken seriously.
The development has sparked conversations online about the increasing cases of cyberbullying faced by public figures. While celebrities often receive criticism, some observers believe there should be a clear line between opinions and targeted harassment.
