BREAKING NEWS: Tension In Bayelsa As Police Storm Suspected Criminal Hideout, Arrest 14 With Deadly Weapons

According to a report by Daily Post on Sunday 11th May 2026, operatives of the Bayelsa State Police Command, working alongside personnel of the Nigerian Army Joint Task Force (JTF), have arrested 14 suspects and recovered several weapons and other items during a security operation in Ogboinbiri Community, located in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The operation followed a violent incident in the community that reportedly resulted in the death of one person and the destruction of property through arson.
