ADC: I’m 60, I’m The Youngest Among Them, All Of Them Are Above 70, They Should Support Me- Amaechi

Former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi has said he deserves the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) because he is younger than other aspirants in the party. According to a report by Daily Trust on Monday, May 18, 2026, speaking during a DCL Hausa programme, Amaechi said he is currently 60 years old and will turn 61 on May 27.

According to him, most of the other politicians interested in the ADC presidential ticket are above 70 years old and should support his ambition.
