According to a report by The Punch on Monday, May 18, 2026, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has modified its list of senatorial aspirants barred from participating in its upcoming primary elections. In an updated release issued on Monday, the ruling party cleared former Senator Ben Murray-Bruce and four other politicians who were initially disqualified.
