According to a report by The Times of Israel on July 10, 2026, Israel has shared intelligence with the United States regarding an alleged new plot by Iran to assassinate US President Donald Trump, citing information from people familiar with the matter.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the intelligence was passed to Washington, although details about when it was provided and the channel used to deliver the information were not immediately clear.
The report comes amid longstanding threats against Trump from Iran following the 2020 US killing of Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.
