Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has stated that he took legal action against a woman who falsely accused him of sexually assaulting his domestic worker on social media
Rudeboy said he had the woman arrested, took the matter to court, and won the case. He added that she is now paying the legal penalty for her actions.
Rudeboy said he still does not believe social media should be censored. He also expressed sympathy for the woman, saying he was sorry for her and understood the difficulties her husband went through because of the case.
In Rudeboy’s words: “The person said something very disgusting, but if you know me very well I don’t talk much about stuffs like that. I made a promise that I was going to get the person, I got the person arrested, took the person to court, won the case. The person is paying the penalty now”
