BREAKING: “APC Have Got a Wrong Candidate, They Might Lose” – Ayodele Warns Ahead of 2027 Gombe Guber Election

Primate Elijah Ayodele has cautioned that the outcome of the 2027 governorship election in Gombe State may largely depend on the quality of candidates presented by political parties, warning that the All Progressives Congress (APC) risks defeat if it makes the wrong choice.

In a recent Facebook video, Ayodele insisted that internal party decisions would be critical in determining electoral success, especially for the APC.

“I still repeat that APC have got a wrong candidate; They might lose,” he said, stressing that voter dissatisfaction could work against the ruling party if corrective steps are not taken.

He further explained that political acceptance at the grassroots level would play a decisive role, adding, “If it’s not the right person, they will lose,” suggesting that popularity and credibility would matter more than party strength alone.

Turning attention to opposition parties, Ayodele noted that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) could spring a surprise if it fields a strong contender.

“If ADC get good person, they will win,” he stated, indicating that the opposition still has a viable path to victory depending on its candidate selection.
