The mother of 28‑year‑old Oghenemine Ogidi, the young man killed in the recent Delta police incident, has revealed in a heartbreaking confession that she has now lost two sons to police brutality in separate encounters.
She made the revelation during a condolence visit by activist Harrison Gwamnishu, explaining through tears that her first son was killed in 2022 and now Oghenemine ( also known as OG Millan) has been taken from her in another police‑related shooting.
Oghenemine was shot during an operation by officers attached to the Effurun Area Command, and the police have since detained ASP Nuhu Usman over the incident.
