JUST IN: 37-Year-Old Man, Teenager Held in Niger State Over Alleged Sexual Abuse Case

The Niger State Police Command has arrested a 37-year-old man and a teenager for homos3xuality and sodomising minors. The spokesperson for the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, May 7, 2026 said the 37-year-old suspect identified as Isah Usman, has been s3xually assaulting boys aged 15, 13 and 14 in his compound.

Similarly, the command arrested a 16-year-old boy, Yusuf Shehu, for allegedly performing unnatural s@xual acts with a 14-year-old boy in an uncompleted building.
