A man identified as Richard has asked the Grade A Customary Court sitting at Mapo in Ibadan, Oyo State, to end his relationship with his wife, Kudirat, over alleged constant violence and threats to his life. According to a report by Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, May 23, 2026, Richard told the court that his wife regularly fought with him and physically assaulted him during disagreements. He said their relationship became troubled shortly after they started living together, adding that peace disappeared from his life because of frequent arguments and misunderstandings.
