President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain proud and confident about the achievements recorded by the party since it took over the leadership of Nigeria in 2015.
Speaking during the APC National Summit in Abuja, the Nigerian leader reassured citizens that his administration remains determined to tackle insecurity and restore peace across the country.
A video shared by Channels Television captured the president emphasizing his government’s commitment to winning the fight against banditry and terrorism.
According to President Tinubu, ensuring the safety of lives and property remains one of the major priorities of his administration.
He stated that the government would not relent until every part of Nigeria becomes peaceful and secure for all citizens.
In his words:
“We will win the battle against banditry and terror. We will not rest until we restore peace and stability to every corner of our country. Our resolve is unwavering. Our goal is clear — a Nigeria where every citizen can live, work, and aspire without fear.”
The president further charged APC members to stay united and continue supporting the vision of the party, noting that the ruling party has made significant progress since assuming power nearly a decade ago.
He said:
“As leaders and members of this great party, we should all be proud of what we have achieved for our country since our party took over governance in 2015.”
