BREAKING NEWS: 23 Houthi fighters were killed during intense clashes as Yemen conflict escalates amid US-Iran war

According to the Anadolu agency, Yemen’s fragile calm is showing fresh signs of collapse as heavy fighting between government forces and Houthi fighters has left more than two dozen people dead, raising fears that the country’s long-running conflict is becoming increasingly entangled in the wider confrontation between the United States and Iran.

Government authorities said four soldiers and 23 Houthi fighters were killed during intense clashes in Dhalea province, marking the deadliest fighting there since a UN-backed truce took effect in April 2022. According to the military media centre affiliated with government forces, another 10 soldiers were wounded in battles on the Fakher and Al-Jub fronts, while seven Houthi fighters were captured, including two commanders.Don’t Miss the Full Story>>
