Leloonu Nwibubasa has criticized Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara over his recent declaration that he has returned to the political family of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, after months of political conflict between the two leaders. Speaking during an interview on Arise TV, Nwibubasa said many Rivers residents who stood behind Fubara throughout the crisis now feel disappointed by his latest position.

According to him, Fubara began his administration by presenting himself as a leader determined to free Rivers State from the influence of one individual whom he accused of treating the state like a private estate.
