Emmanuel Garba, a survivor of the bandit attack on Naridom community in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State has spoken about the attack
In an interview with News Central TV, Garba said the attackers forced their way into his house and shot six of his children in the head. He said he and his wife narrowly escaped from the house through a window
Garba said that some of the attackers chased his wife as she fled. He said she managed to escape by crawling in the dark because the attackers pursuing her did not have flashlights.
Garba also said 5 of his children who were shot died, while the sixth child survived and is receiving treatment in hospital.
In Garba’s words: “The herders came in and surrounded my house. They burgled the window and entered my room, all of us were inside. They shot six of my children in the head, five of them died and one of them is in the hospital. I and my wife narrowly escaped. I broke the window and we escaped through the window. As my wife escaped some of the bandits chased after her, thank God none of those who followed her had torchlight, she had to escape by crawling”
