There have been several reactions from social media users after photos of the ammunition that the Nigerian Army recovered from some suspects affiliated with the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB surfaced online.
The photos were contained in a post that the Nigerian Army shared on its official X handle on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
The ammunition that were recovered include General Purpose Machine Guns, RPG-7 launcher tube, AK-47 rifles, hand grenades, tear gas gun with cartridges, AK-47 magazines and several others.
After sharing the photos, the Nigerian Army stated that the suspects were arrested by Troops of 82 Division and operatives of Department of State Services, DSS in Enugu state.
