JUST IN: Even Nasir El-Rufai, Who Championed the Muslim-Muslim Ticket, Is Now Crying for Justice– Adebayo

Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate Adewole Adebayo has said recent complaints about fairness in government show that political support based on religious identity does not guarantee justice or good governance. He argued that the country’s political debate should focus on leadership and accountability rather than religious affiliations.

Speaking during an interview on Arise TV, Adebayo referred to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who strongly supported the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket before the 2023 general election.

He said the current political situation demonstrates that governance should be judged by its outcomes rather than by the religious identities of those in office.
