Speaking during his programme, Watters said commercial vessels from around the world would continue to have access to the strategic waterway, while restrictions would be directed specifically at Iran.
“Every country’s vessels can continue moving in and out of the Strait if they choose, with the exception of Iran’s,” Watters said.
He explained that although the United States is not heavily dependent on oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz, many countries rely on the route for energy supplies, making maritime security a global concern.Read More Here>
