ormer Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election held across Kogi Central senatorial district. According to the official results announced at the conclusion of the exercise, the former governor polled a total of 72,399 votes to secure a landslide victory in the primary election.

His closest challenger, Ibrahim Yakubu Adoke, garnered 319 votes, while Momoh Yusuf Obaro secured 188 votes.
